Needing to pee in the night
My 52 year old partner has recently been getting up every night to pee (sometimes several times a night) - this is disturbing both our sleeping patterns! Is this just an age thing and we just have to live with it or could it be something more sinister? Is there anything he can do to prevent the need...

Hard testicle
My husband has recently been saying that one of his testicles is completely hard. Being a man he's just brushed it aside but I'm worried that this could be something more sinister. Should I be worried or is this something that will go away with time? He's 53. Thank you.

Is this treatment suitable for urge incontinence?
I have what I think is termed urge type incontinence. I don’t get any leakage (yet) and I’m wondering if this treatment might be suitable for me? I’ve not spoken to my GP and it would be good to know more about this treatment before I see my doctor. Also, is there anything in particular I should be ...

What are the chances of getting cancer again?
My husband had prostate cancer a few years and we were so relieved to be given the all clear a while back, but since then my husband doesn’t like talking about it. However what are the chances of him getting either the cancer back again or another form of cancer? I am so worried about this but can’t...

Re: Disturbed Sleep
You can buy special bedding that can help - it draws the moisture away so you don't feel sweaty, clammy and sleep better - I can't remember the name but I'm sure if you search in google you'll find various options - might be worth a try?!

I'm menopausal but never felt sick - might be worth checking with your doc.

Re: Husband frequently peeing
Just a quick update - persuaded my husband to go to the doctor and thankfully he only had a bacterial form of prostatitis which was causing the frequent peeing. Our doctor was fantastic and I'd urge anyone with any issues to definitely see your doctor.

Threat of prostate cancer brought us closer together
Hello - to be honest the very real fear of my husband having prostate cancer has brought us much closer together. We come from a generation where you don't talk openly about these things, hence I initialy came to this site. But since I've been here, and persuaded my husband to see our doctor it's fo...
