can you get a balance so no diarrohea & too much bathing is not good. I use nappy cream after soft BM and as a last resort proctosydal ....steroid cream for a weak.
Has your GP taken a swab to check cor fungal issues?

Hi Harrison
Do you have the opportunity to get to an allergy clinic., hospitals in bigger towns have them?
In the meantime do you use chemicals in cleaning products or skin creams etc? Staying away from these may help.

my problems have been going on for a long time too though in dfferent ways. 20's and 30's loose and since early 50's constipation! Functional gut motility is the diagnosis...I have to use Movicol to soften stool (17 years) but also try to use diet to help movement. I need to drink at least 2 litres ...

PLEASE ADVISE WHAT CREAMS ARE SUITABLE - these patches come and go. Mostly I have used chemical free moisturizers but also am trying Timodine given for anal probs.
