Diet and eczema

Just wondering if a change in diet makes a difference? I have had eczema all my life since reaching 50 it is a lot worse I also suffer with psoriasis.

Dear Dee,

Thank you for your question. So sorry to hear about your psoriasis and dermatitis. Generally there is no strict evidence that diet can affect dermatitis or psoriasis although there is some anecdotal evidence that raw cumin spice in small quantities may help psoriasis. However if your eczema became much worse ask your dermatologist to arrange for you patch testing to exclude allergic contact dermatitis.
