Is a sober house a good idea?
Retention of residents in the sober living houses was excellent. Average lengths of stay in both types of sober living houses surpassed the National Institute on Drug Abuse recommendation of at least 90 days to obtain maximum benefit.

I know about drug and alcohol addictions. I don't suffer them myself but I've had friends tell me all about it.
Alcoholism is a tough one: alcohol can be incredibly addictive. And they all say even if the person stops drinking they're still an alcoholic. I don't agree with this myself BUT when someone does have such an addiction, it isn't easy to eradicate. Often it is just suppressed.
Perhaps people with experience of alcoholism could post their thoughts and experiences on here: because so many people suffer from it or know someone who does.

A sober living home (some of the time called a halfway house ) works as an extension between an inpatient office and the real world" Yes, its a best choice to recover from the addiction. Yes, iits a best choice to recover from the addiction, A lot of people in recovery, moving into a sober living home after treatment makes the difference between going back to their old habits or continuing on the path of sobriety. A sober living home is an incredible choice to lighten any concerns you may have about going from such a monitored environment right back into daily life. A major piece of staying in a sober living home is making positive companionships that help to reinforce the desire to abstain from drugs and alcohol. Sober living homes provide a combination of freedom and structure to help the person begin to readjust to life outside of rehab. So its best choice to recover from addiction.

No one can be "cured" for lack of a better word, but addictions can be managed. If the sufferer is willing to handle dealing with their addiction/s, then there is hope for them. But change must come from within: or - again - the addiction is simply suppressed. Plus, getting to the root problems to stress and addictions is all part of therapy.
No one has to be a victim of their own addictions.

Really I like whenever I read your comment, the way you share your thoughts, that really would have been good. You are right that if someone is addicted to drug/alcohol or any other thing then he/she have to get out of it by them self first. When he/she decide themself that they want to break free from these habits, then he/she can think of a recovery centre or a sober living home, because only if he/she is determined from his heart, then any treatment will improve them.
Yes, after that sober living home is good idea....
