New derma silk PJ's
Hi all
I've just got some derma silk pj's to try (wow they're pricey!) but can i ask did you wash them before first use? Or did you just put them straight on? I'm desperate to try them out but don't want to make things worse if they need a wash before first use!
Thanks

The first few lots of dermasilk garments we got I washed before we used them. I have since used the garments straight from the packet and it does not seem to have caused any irritation.

We use from the pack. It is a medical garment so should come ready to use. Have you bought them??? They are available on prescription. They are good as pj's but also great to wear in the day under normal clothing. My children like them very much. I hope you get on with them.

Hi Becky
that is fab news. We bought 2 of them and yes very pricey but my GP has only prescribed me 2 (better than nothing i guess).
If my daughter is really bad I put it under her preschool uniform. I also found you use less creams etc
Let us know how you get on with them

I use hot water to wash mine, and do it my hand. every 10 washes use bicarbonate of soda.

Thanks guys.
Well i put them straight on the 3 yr old from the pack and have washed the ones for the baby just in water. The 3 yr old seems to like them. Although she's itching like crazy at the moment and flaring, and covered in spots again all over torso, tummy and back.So they've already got blood on! I'm thinking it must be the heat? Anyone else having trouble in this sticky weather?
They seem like great Pj's though. Yes Anna i did buy them. I am going to try and get a pair on prescription too....

My children are suffering in the heat. My 6 year old is desperate for the sun to go away.
