Natural method working!

Hi all,

I just wanted to share what I have been doing re my eczema. I have/had Pompholyx all over my hands and up my arms. It became infected so the doctor prescribed me antibiotics and steroid cream. This helped a bit, but I woke up scratching in the night and put myself back to square one. I didn't want to take any more pills or use steroids, so thought I would try something natural. I am taking a few grains of coarse sea salt and putting them in the palm of my hand... adding a few drops of water and then rubbing it all over my hands. I then just take a clean peice of kitchen roll to dab my hands dry. I do not rinse the salt off. I do this after my shower then before bed time. The salt really eases the itching. I have a couple of spoons of organic apple cider vinegar a day and take a decent cod liver oil capsule. I moisturise only once a day with coconut oil as it is lighter than cream or lotion and doesn't drench the skin so much. I find too much moisture makes the eczema weep and keeping it dry helps. Also... any peep of sunshine and i try and get my skin in it. I have been doing this for a week and my skin has turned from a weeping, angry red to a dry pale pink. It really seems to be working!
Of course, everyone responds differently to treatments, but wanted to share as it may help someone out there. Good luck everyone x

I am so happy to hear the natural route has worked for you! I have two kids with eczema and I was interested also in finding a natural solution! I did find this great cream per recommendation called "easy eczema" by Trukid. It's steroid free, thank goodness, and I feel safe knowing that my kiddos' eczema is keep controlled and relieved. If you're on the hunt for another natural solution I would strongly suggest the cream! Hope all is well!
